The Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent is devoting its 11th exhibition to the interior designer Jean-Michem Frank.
Centred around furniture and objects created by the interior designer and by Giacometti, Dali and Bérard, and that often belonged to legendary figures of the interwar era, the exhibition recreates the highly distinctive moods of the uncompromising designer by weaving the links they maintain with surrealism, the world of Jean Cocteau and the social and aesthetic revolutions of the interwar period. Published on the occasion of this exhibition, the catalogue will evoke the work and singular personality of this inventor of the contemporary habitat.
